    Description

The Mini DisplayPort (MiniDP or mDP) is a miniaturized and less common version of the DisplayPort digital interface. It was announced by Apple in October 2008, and by early 2013 all new Apple Macintosh computers had Mini DisplayPort. The Mini DisplayPort is also fitted to some PC motherboards, video cards, and some PC notebooks from Asus, Microsoft, MSI, Lenovo, Toshiba, HP, Dell, and other manufacturers.

The Mini DisplayPort is also available on the ZimaBoard. You can use a Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI cable for a direct connection, or use this Mini Display Port to Standard HDMI A Female Adapter and connect it to a Male HDMI cable, such as this one from Raspberry Pi.

The Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter conforms to the VESA DisplayPort Dual-mode adapter type 2 standard. The input is compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 specification and HDMI output supports high resolutions up to 3840x2160, 30Hz. Therefore, you should be able to get 4k@60Hz video output according to the ZimaBoard specs.
