Grove - VOC and eCO2 SGP30 Gas Sensor
- Brands Seeedstudio Code: GRV-GAS-SGP30 MPN: 101020512
The Grove-VOC and eCO2 Gas Sensor SGP30 is an air quality sensor. Based on SGP30, this module provides TVOC(Total Volatile Organic Compounds) and CO2eq output with outstanding long-term stability and low power consumption, which makes it a perfect choice for indoor air quality detection using Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
The SGP30 is a digital multi-pixel gas sensor designed for easy integration into air purifiers, demand-controlled ventilation, and IoT applications. Sensirion’s CMOSens®technology offers a complete sensor system on a single chip featuring a digital I2C interface, a temperature-controlled micro hotplate, and two preprocessed indoor air quality signals. As the first metal-oxide gas sensor featuring multiple sensing elements on one chip, the SGP30 provides more detailed information about air quality.
For all Grove users (especially beginners), we provide you with guidance PDF documents. Please download and read through Preface - Getting Started and Introduction to Grove before your use of the product.
The gas sensor module is compatible with both Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards. However, you may need Base Shield V2 to work with Arduino Uno and HAT - Grove Base for Raspberry Pi.
Based on the picture above, the grove shield for Arduino is stacked with Seeeduino V4.2. Of course, you can use that shield with Arduino too :)
