Project 2: Smart Security System

Overview

Utilize the IR sensor to monitor the motion or movement through Blynk Cloud.

Required components

In this tutorial, these are required components

•  NodeMCU ESP8266
•  IR Sensor
•  3 x Female-to-Female Jumper

Blynk setup

1. The steps should be similar to Project 1. Adjust the parameters accordingly.

2. Follow the data below for Virtual Pin Datastream.

3. For the Web Dashboard, use Label to display the infrared sensor data.

4. Create a New Device and take note of Blynk's device credentials.

Code

1. Copy and paste the code below into Arduino IDE software.

2. Similar to Project 1, replace the Blynk and WiFi credentials.
