RPI4B Heatsink with Fan for CPU and RAM

If you are looking for small, compact active cooling for your Raspberry Pi 4 Model B board that can fit into most of the enclosure, you might be in luck. This is the Aluminum heatsink with dual-fan that offers active cooling for both the CPU and RAM IC, making sure your system runs under cool conditions. Great!

The heatsink comes with the fan pre-mounted on heatsink as the whole structure and you need to stick the thermal paste under the base.

There is an extra small thermal paste, that is for RAM IC on Raspberry Pi 4B as the RAM IC is lower than the CPU IC, so the additional thermal paste is to fill the gap between the heatsink and the RAM IC. Do stick the small thermal paste on the RAM IC before sticking the heatsink onto the Raspberry Pi 4B board.

Now, the last step is to connect the fan power to the Raspberry Pi GPIO pin :)

Since the heatsink is taking up very small space on the CPU and RAM IC, it should not affect the WiFi and Bluetooth signal. And in some case, this heatsink can still fit in other enclosure :)
