Smart Card Reader EM4100

This is an RFID 125KHz ID reader which is widely used for RFID radio frequency identification systems and projects, such as automated parking management, personal identification, and production access control. This RFID card reader is a passive card reader which can read RFID card serial numbers and output to your computer according to the specified format, then management software drives many more functions. 

Installation Instructions:

1.  Connect the USB cable with the card reader to the computer USB port.
2.  The reader will 'drip' sound and flash about that power successfully, and then half a second after the 'drip' sound and flash about that device self-test successfully, without installing any drivers, windows will automatically recognize it.
3.  Open Notepad, Excel or Word, the card number would be input by self.

Note: Please be sure that the RFID reader is only compatible with μEM4001, 4100, or its compatible RFID, ID card, passive RFID 125 kHz card, or tag, otherwise the RFID cannot detect the card.

RFID Card

RFID Proximity Card is a very thin, truly credit card thickness of proximity passive card. It has a very flat surface to print any photo ID directly on both sides of the card with a direct image or thermal transfer printer. Works in the 125KHz RF range. These cards come with a unique 32-bit ID (10 digits) and are not re-programmable.

RFID Key Chain Tag

The key chain type RFID tag also performs as an RFID card that has its own identity number. Any company logo or custom graphic can be directly printed on both sides of the tag. Works in the 125KHz RF range. These tags come with a unique 32-bit ID (10 digits) and are not re-programmable.* Note: This is a passive RFID tag, it is readable only. When read by a compatible RFID reader, it will send a unique ID to the reader.
