Industrial USB to RS485 Bidirectional Converter

This is an industrial-grade USB to RS485 bidirectional converter that uses the original FT232RL and SP485EEN chips. Thanks to its stable communication, it's an ideal choice for industrial control equipment and applications with high communication requirements.

This device supports USB to RS485 bidirectional conversion and features onboard original FT232RL and SP485EEN chips. It provides fast communication that is both stable and reliable, with excellent compatibility. The board is equipped with TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) to effectively suppress surge and transient spike voltages in the circuit, making it lightning-proof and anti-electrostatic. Additionally, the onboard resettable fuse and protection diodes ensure current/voltage stable outputs, providing over-current/over-voltage protection and improving shock resistance.

This device can convert the USB signal into a balanced differential RS485 signal with stable transmission rates. The reliable transmission speed ranges from 300 to 921600bps. The transmission distance for RS485 is approximately 1.2km, making it suitable for use in larger industrial settings. In contrast, the transmission distance for USB is about 5 meters, which is still sufficient for most personal or small-scale applications.
