LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Expansion Set - V2

With over 600 LEGO elements, it also combines with the SPIKE Prime Set (45678) and free SPIKE App to launch students and teachers into the exciting world of robotics competitions.

This is the new updated Expansion Set, V2 which comes with a new element, a Maker Plate which allows for easy building with your choice of Raspberry Pi Boards - Single Board Computer (SBC) device. The Maker Plate will increase learning opportunities for SPIKE Prime advanced users and allows them to get inspired to explore new challenges outside the controlled SPIKE Prime environment.

The combination of this expansion set and the recently launched Build HAT opens up the possibility for LEGO owners that have completed all LEGO projects to advance into a more powerful controller which is Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (latest). The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is ready with very high-end specifications such as  Quad-core 64-bit processor, large DDR4 RAM, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ac (dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 and BLE, rich peripheral (GPIO), Gigabit Ethernet, high-resolution camera interface, video and audio output, and many more.
