Antenna Magnetic Base with LMR195 Coaxial Cable

Note: This magnetic base comes with two variations of length for the coaxial cable which are 4 meters and 2 meters in length.

Note: This antenna magnetic base is not suitable for mounting outside. This is due to the fact that it is not water-tight and high moisture levels would eventually damage it and result in an inoperable installation. We recommend only using it in indoor conditions away from wet environments.

This antenna magnetic base is a simple solution for mounting your antenna to flat metal surfaces. It comes with an N-type female to RP-SMA male connector for the coaxial cable. This is perfect to extend the Helium hotspot to a high gain antenna.

Note: It is NOT suitable to extend the hotspot stocked antenna as the RF connector on the magnetic base is N-type Female while the stocked antenna is RP-SMA male.

With this magnetic base, you can mount any type of antenna but make sure to have an antenna that has a compatible connector with the magnetic base.

Note: The hotspot and antenna are NOT INCLUDED. Please get them separately if you don't already have one.

The magnetic base comes with an LMR195 cable which is an ultra Flexible Low Loss Communications Coaxial cable.

Why choose LMR195?

LMR195 low loss braided coaxial cable offers similar performance compared to corrugated copper cables but provides higher flexibility and simplified connection. This low loss 50 Ohm coaxial cable features a foil shield and a 90% braided shield. It has a polyethylene, gas-injected UV-resistant jacket. The LMR195 transmission line can be used in almost any application where handling characteristics, improved shield, and low loss is required. The LMR195 with black PE jacket is rated for a 5.8 GHz maximum operating frequency. This 0.195-inch diameter coax cable is built with a double shield count and RF shielding of 90 dB.
